Volunteer: LINC Teen Advisory Board Leadership-New Volunteer ApplicationPlease note, completing this application is the first step of our volunteer process and does not automatically approve you for volunteer service. Role: This position will support the planning of teen engagement within the library. Volunteers will cultivate organizational and strategic skills through planning and assisting with teen and library programming. Responsibilities and Specific Duties: Volunteer will work under the supervision of library staff on the following duties: Assist with mentoring and leading program members through tasks and other duties Assist with the set up and clean-up of any supplies or materials used during monthly meetings Assist with note taking during meetings Help facilitate constructive conversation around program development and other library related topics Collaborate with staff and program members to propose and design of activities and initiatives Assist with the assembly and organization of program materials Provide programming preparation support for ongoing library events and programming as needed Assist with the maintenance and organization of teen spaces Create a welcoming environment for TAB program membersQualifications: Volunteers in this position should have: The ability to follow verbal and written instructions Must be between the ages of 16-18Location: LINC Library Innovation Center Training and Support Provided: Training and support will be provided by the Teen Librarian.
